On tapa, study, ordinances, wealth
tapo na kalko ̍dhyayanaṁ na kalkaḥ svābhāviko vedavidhirnakalkaḥ prasahya vittāharaṇaṁ na kalka.. stānyeva bhāvopahatānikalkaḥ Tapa is not a sin, study is not a sin, ordinances of the Vedas are not sins, acquisition of wealth by extertion is not a sin. When they are abused, then only they become the source of evil.
